Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a hot-mix asphalt plant. Operating duties include temperature control, ingredient control and customer truck loading. Also, responsible for clean-up and minor maintenance of plant equipment. Reports mechanical failures, and/or material inconsistencies to supervisor.
Required Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Requires at least three years asphalt plant operating experience.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Performs duties safely, responsibly, and proficiently observing all safety and health rules
Customer Service – Good communication skills will interact with customers and vendors on a daily basis.
Computer System - Inputs numeric data and operational data into a computer system for asphalt plant production activities.
