Job Description
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Ready mix driver will be responsible for the safe operation of a Ready mix vehicle.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transports ready mix concrete products from batch plants to customer jobsites and unloads safely.
- Maintain proper slump (water content) of ready mix concrete specified for that load or project. Responsible for inspecting, servicing, and maintaining a clean truck..
- Abide by the Federal Motor Carrier Regulations (log sheets / DOT Medical Exam Card/ etc.) and company policies and procedures.

Required Skills
Maintain a clean driving record (no record of DUI’s, carelessness, recklessness)
Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift 90 pounds
Experience within the Ready Mix business a plus but not required
Class "B" commercial drivers license and experience driving concrete mixer trucks are required.
Ability to climb the ladder of a ready mix truck in order to reach work platform on rear of truck.
